Abstract In <br> <br>this paper, Mongolian astragalus seedlings are used as test materials, Arnon-Hoagland nutrient solution is used to dilute three different concentrations of original concentration, one-half concentration, and one-third concentration to cultivate astragalus seedlings, and cultivate astragalus in garden soil seedling. Take a week as a cycle, take the roots and leaves of five groups of Astragalus seedlings, use spectrophotometer and standard curve to determine the soluble protein, reducing sugar, starch, chlorophyll content of Astragalus seedlings and the external form of Astragalus seedlings Compare. It is hoped that through this experiment, a nutrient solution capable of cultivating high-quality Astragalus seedlings will be selected. <br>The content and external morphological indexes of Astragalus seedlings cultivated by nutrient solution were higher than those of Astragalus seedlings cultivated in garden soil. Among them, the Astragalus seedlings cultivated with the original concentration of nutrient solution had the highest indexes. Nutrient solution nursery can shorten the nursery time and improve the seedling quality, which is conducive to early maturity and high yield, and at the same time can reduce the damage to the astragalus roots during picking.
