Correlation of T lymphocyte subsets, IL-6 and PCT in sepsis patients and its clinical significance
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical application of this method
Objective to evaluate the correlation and clinical significance of T lymphocyte subsets, IL-6 and PCT in sepsis patients.
method:
120 patients with sepsis in our hospital were selected and divided into three groups according to the severity of the disease: sepsis group, severe sepsis group, sepsis shock group, 40 cases in each group.
After admission, venous blood was collected from all patients by aseptic vacuum vessel to detect the levels of T lymphocyte subsets CD3 +, CD4 +, CD8 +, CD4 + / CD8 +, and the levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and procalcitonin (PCT).
Compare and analyze whether there are differences among the three groups of patients, and analyze whether there is correlation between the level of each index and the prognosis of patients after treatment.
result:
The levels of CD3 +, CD4 +, CD4 + / CD8 + in the three groups decreased with the aggravation of the disease, with significant difference (P = 0.00).
The levels of IL-6 and PCT increased with the aggravation of the disease among the three groups, and the difference was statistically significant (IL-6, P = 0.00; PCT, P = 0.01); the better the patients were, the higher the levels of CD4 +, CD4 + / CD8 + were, the positive correlation between them; while the lower the levels of IL-6 and PCT, the negative correlation between them.
Conclusion
Peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and serum IL-6, PCT showed abnormal expression in patients with sepsis, and has a close relationship with the severity of the disease, can have a certain predictive value for patients after recovery, so the above indicators have high clinical significance.
Key words: T lymphocyte subsets, IL-6, PCT, sepsis, diagnosis
