At present, the high-frequency protection of high-voltage transmission lines is still one of the important protections of the line. Therefore, how to analyze the fault problem on the carrier channel and take effective measures to deal with it in time is very important for the high frequency protection of the power plant side line. The subject of this paper introduces the basic composition of the high frequency protection carrier channel of the transmission line, the analysis of the operation problem, and the method for finding the fault of the carrier channel. Then the author analyzes the problems on the relay protection carrier channel in actual operation based on his own practice, and provides the practical experience of relevant treatment measures for reference.
