This article selects Yonghui Supermarket, a case of the transformation of traditional retail to new retail, and divides its exploration of new retail business into two stages according to the development path of Yonghui Supermarket. The first stage is the new retail environment of Yonghui Supermarket. In the next business model innovation period (2015-2018), in order to seek a better development of Yonghui Supermarket, Yonghui Supermarket was bravely to be a pioneer and opened the "Cloud Creation" business section as an important carrier for the practice of new retail business. In order to measure its innovation results, this paper sorts out the data from 2014 to 2018 before and after the business model innovation of Yonghui Supermarket. At the same time, it introduces the data of the same period in the retail industry for comparison, respectively, in terms of solvency, profitability, operating ability and development ability. A comparative analysis of these aspects was carried out to study the impact of business model innovation on Yonghui Supermarket’s financial performance, and it was concluded that the business model innovation carried out by Yonghui Supermarket was meaningful and beneficial to the enterprise.
