We reported a 2-amino-pyridine, acetophenone and p-toluene sulfonyl hydrazide as a raw material, in the promotion of iodine, multicomponent one-pot synthesis efficiently imidazo [1,2-α] pyridine compound. The method avoids the use of toxic and pungent mercaptan and thiophenol, and easy to operate. The method can easily be gram reaction, provides the possibility for future industrial use.
