Micro-arc polishing, also known as electrolytic plasma polishing, is an electrochemical polishing system with the participation of oxygen plasma based on electrolytic polishing. Under the combined action of electrolytic reaction, oxidation reaction, plasma discharge impact, dynamic flow of gas film and cavitation caused by the collapse of oxygen bubbles, the metal surface is finished. Klaus et al. studied the influence of different complexing agents on the polishing effect, and compared the differences between electrolytic polishing and electrolytic plasma polishing, pointing out the advantages of environmental protection and high polishing efficiency of electrolytic plasma polishing electrolyte. At the same time, a large number of scholars at home and abroad have optimized the processing time, electrolyte composition, electrical parameters and other technological parameters in the micro-arc polishing process of stainless steel, and obtained a high-quality surface. However, there is still no reasonable explanation for the radial unevenness after micro-arc polishing.
