Highway maintenance project is more difficult and complex than the new highway technology, often need to further coordinate the relationship between traffic and current projects, is the construction safety, construction efficiency, construction economy closely linked to the whole. In addition, due to special process, production, external and internal factors, the price control requirements are getting higher and higher. The study mainly draws the following conclusions:<br>1. Using the theory of value engineering, compare and choose the scheme of specific cases, demonstrate the surface asphalt regeneration process, road-based regeneration scheme, choose the best scheme, and support the price control in the design stage.<br>2. Apply the life cycle evaluation theory to obtain the environmental benefit evaluation, direct economic benefit calculation and specific cost management effect of the case project.<br>3. This study puts forward many suggestions on the case project cost management case and the existing research results, and through this study, it can provide theoretical reference and technical support for the cost management of follow-up maintenance projects.
