RHJA-3系列剪销安全阀由活塞组件、 阀体、接头、剪销板及护罩等组成。泥浆压力作用在阀体下端面, 阀体就受到一个向上的推力, 该推力由阀杆传递到剪销板, 使剪销板孔内的抗剪销受到剪切。当推力达到使抗剪销受到的剪切应力大于抗剪销材料的剪切强度极限时, 剪切销便被剪断。通过抗剪销的不同位置，可以控制泥浆泵不同的缸套极限压力值
