As can be seen from Figure 7d, there is a negative correlation between crude oil viscosity and temperature. The viscosity of crude oil drops to 0.02 (Pa.s) at 60 degrees C, which is only about 1/50 at 30 degrees C. Therefore, the photothermal effect of oil-absorbing materials will greatly improve the rate of crude oil absorption. As can be learned from Figures 7e and 7f, crude oil droplets at the same time under lighting conditions, based on the absorption speed of different absorption materials have a greater difference. CF absorbs more than 60 s and still does not fully absorb it. By contrast, CF-SA-PPy only needs 20s to absorb crude oil.
